Unemployment Compensation

Unemployment compensation assists workers whose jobs have been terminated through no fault of their own by providing temporary income support for a given period of time or until they find a new job. Unemployment payments (compensation) are intended to provide an unemployed worker time to find a new job equivalent to the one lost without financial distress. Unemployment compensation benefits are paid for a limited time to individuals who are able and available for suitable work, and who are actively seeking new employment. To qualify for unemployment compensation benefits, a worker must have performed services covered under the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Law and must have worked for an employer who is required by law or elects to pay into the unemployment compensation fund. Our firm can assist you in claiming and obtaining the unemployment compensation benefits to which you may be entitled. Our attorneys have the skills, knowledge and experience to provide you with sound advice and legal representation for unemployment compensation issues and appeals.
